This beef-flavoured flea and tick chew is sized specifically for extra small dogs weighing 4.4–9.9 lbs (2–4.5 kg). Its active ingredient, fluralaner, is absorbed into the bloodstream after the chew is eaten, so bathing and swimming do not wash it off.

One chew provides 12 weeks of protection against fleas and several listed tick species; lone star tick protection lasts 8 weeks. Fleas begin to be killed within 2 hours, while ticks are killed within 12 hours.
