Give horses a carefully measured, weight-based dose using this apple-flavoured liquid wormer and included dosing syringe. Its low-volume format fits practical worming routines for individual horses or larger yards.

The broad-spectrum formula treats and controls tapeworms, large and small strongyles, hairworms, pinworms, roundworms, intestinal threadworms, large-mouthed stomach worms, bots and lungworms. It is also indicated for summer sores and cutaneous onchocerciasis.

Key Features

  • Targeted dosing and the included syringe support accurate measurement according to each horse's liveweight.
  • The apple-flavoured, low-volume liquid keeps oral dosing practical during routine horse care.
  • Each bottle treats 10 horses weighing 600kg, making treatment planning straightforward for multi-horse properties and yards.
  • The wormer may be used for horses of all ages, including mares at any stage of pregnancy when normal handling care is taken.
  • Stallions may be treated without adversely affecting fertility, allowing one worming option to serve a breeding group.
  • It can be given as an oral drench or by stomach tube, giving veterinarians another administration route when nasogastric intubation is appropriate.

Specifications

  • Bottle volume: 120mL.
  • Active constituent: 75mg/mL praziquantel.
  • Active constituent: 10mg/mL ivermectin.
  • Recommended dose: 1mL per 50kg liveweight.
  • A dosing syringe is included.
  • Administration routes are oral drench or stomach tube.
  • Nasogastric intubation must be performed by a veterinarian or under veterinary supervision.
  • The dose may be used undiluted or diluted up to approximately 40 times with clean tepid water for stomach-tube administration.
  • Unused diluted suspension must be discarded 24 hours after dilution.
  • Meat withholding period for horses: do not use less than 28 days before slaughter for human consumption.

For oral drenching, clear food from the horse's mouth, place the measured dose at the back of the mouth and avoid excessive pressure. Keep the horse's head elevated and watch to confirm the dose is retained. Use a clean, dry syringe when accessing the bottle so the remaining liquid is not contaminated.
