An in-line UVC aquarium water clarifier from Fluval connects to a canister-filter return line and uses a 6W CCFL bulb at a stated 253 nm wavelength to target suspended algae that can contribute to green or cloudy water. It can operate in either flow direction, simplifying placement in an existing filtration layout.

The included 1-inch to 5/8-inch (25 to 16 mm) hose adapters support Fluval FX Series filters and other compatible canisters. A universal bracket allows horizontal or vertical cabinet mounting, and the unit is specified for freshwater or saltwater aquariums up to 400 US gallons (1,500 L).

Key Features

  • In-line design connects to a compatible canister-filter output line.
  • Six-watt CCFL bulb operates at a source-stated 253 nm wavelength.
  • Bidirectional flow allows installation without reversing an existing water line.
  • Indicator window shows when the UVC bulb is operating.
  • Universal bracket supports horizontal or vertical cabinet-wall mounting.
  • Replaceable A19990 bulb is available separately.
