Insulated Dog Jacket for Cold-Weather Mushing and Rest, Lightweight and Packable Over a Pulling Harness

This insulated dog jacket gives sled dogs protective warmth during long runs, cold rest periods, races, and expeditions. Its tailored shape fits over a pulling harness while allowing unrestricted movement, so working dogs can stay covered without losing their natural stride.

A wind- and waterproof ripstop shell faces harsh weather, while the smooth lining and heat-reflective membrane retain warmth. Recycled PrimaLoft® insulation adds comfortable loft without making the jacket heavy or difficult to pack.

Key Features

• The durable ripstop outer shell is wind- and waterproof, providing reliable protection when conditions turn cold and exposed.
• A heat-reflective membrane in the smooth inner lining retains three times more heat than standard nylon fabric, conserving warmth during rest and recovery.
• Recycled PrimaLoft® Black Insulation Hi-Loft keeps the jacket light and breathable while adding soft, puffy insulation for comfort.
• Two robust hook-and-loop fasteners secure the jacket across the chest and beneath the stomach, creating a stable fit over a pulling harness.
• Tailored coverage protects the chest, shoulders, thighs, and waist while leaving the dog free to move during demanding outdoor work.
• Reflective side branding improves visibility at road crossings, on busy trails, and in mountainous terrain, while the included optional cover protects male dogs.
