This soft martingale dog collar is designed for Whippets, Greyhounds, Italian Greyhounds, Lurchers, Salukis and other sighthounds. Its limited-slip construction gently tightens when a dog strains against the lead, then stops at a set point for controlled, comfortable walking.

The adjustable collar is shaped for breeds whose narrow heads and thin necks can make it easier to back out of conventional collars. A wide fabric band helps distribute the load across the neck, while the soft material is gentle against delicate skin.

Specifications

• Small: 7–10 in (18–26 cm) fit range and 1 in (2.5 cm) width; general guide for sighthound puppies and Italian Greyhounds.
• Medium: 10–14 in (26–36 cm) fit range and 1.5 in (3.8 cm) width; general guide for Whippets and Bedlingtons.
• Large: 14–18 in (36–46 cm) fit range and 2 in (5 cm) width; general guide for Greyhounds, large Lurchers, Salukis and Borzois.
• To select a size, measure around the largest part of the dog’s head, including where the collar must pass over the ears, and measure the middle of the neck where it will sit.
• For fitting, loosen the collar before passing it over the head, then adjust it until secure and comfortable. Check that two fingers fit between the collar and the dog’s neck.

Measure both the widest part of your dog’s head and the middle of the neck before ordering. Once fitted, confirm that the collar is secure, comfortable and limited from tightening beyond its intended point.
