Monte Carlo Aquarium Plant, Sterile Vitro Culture for Dense Foreground Carpeting in Freshwater Aquascapes

Monte Carlo aquarium plant develops round, bright-green leaves along creeping stems, gradually forming a dense foreground lawn. Its secure rooting habit makes newly planted portions less likely to float away than HC Cuba.

The plantlets arrive in a sealed 4-inch sterile culture bag, free of snails and algae. Each bag contains approximately two to three small tissue-cultured clumps that can be separated into portions for planting.

Rinse the culture gel away completely, separate the plantlets into small portions, and place them about one inch apart. Trim the carpet when it reaches approximately one inch; an untrimmed mat can shade its base and lift from the substrate. Color and density may vary with lighting, CO₂, and nutrients. Never release aquarium plants into natural waterways.
