This undergravel aquarium filter creates a customizable filtration grid beneath aquarium gravel. Its modular plates can be arranged around the tank footprint, while the sliding uplift design lets you position the tubes where they fit your aquascape and conceal them behind rocks or driftwood.

The system draws particles from the water, provides space for beneficial bacteria, and maintains a gentle flow for shrimp, fish, and plants. Each kit includes 20 filter plates, Easy Flow uplift tubes, collars, and weighted air stones. An air pump, airline tubing, and check valve are also required to operate the filter.

• Additional equipment required: air pump, airline tubing, and a check valve to help prevent water from draining through the airline during a power outage.
• Installation begins in a bare-bottom aquarium. Remove existing substrate before assembling the plate grid and cover the completed system with suitable gravel.
• For the easiest air-stone fit, remove one extra disk or spacer from each included air stone during installation.
• Routine care: vacuum the gravel normally to remove accumulated mulm and debris.
