Dwarf Hairgrass Live Aquarium Plant, Low-Growing Eleocharis for Freshwater Foreground Carpeting

Dwarf Hairgrass is a live Eleocharis aquarium plant that creates a bright green, meadow-style carpet across the floor of a freshwater tank. Its fine, grass-like blades and compact growth suit foreground or midground placement in both small and large aquariums.

Plant small plugs across the substrate to establish a natural carpet. Medium to high lighting supports the best growth and carpeting density, while adequate nutrients help the plant establish and spread.

CO₂ injection is optional, but it can encourage faster spreading and thicker growth. The plant grows steadily in low-tech aquariums and more quickly in high-tech setups using CO₂.
